Some overall items:

19 swimmers out of the 38 going to Divisionals made it back or finals!

Our 15/18 girls medley relay took 1st place. Those same four girls then turned around and not only won the free relay - they set a NEW MEET RECORD!!!

Allie Reiter took 1st place in the 15/18 50 Breast and 100 IM!

Laura Spratling took 4th place in the 15/18 50 Free!

Coach Kaleigh took 7th place in the 15/18 100 Free!

We had a few swimmers who placed in the top 20 in their events, and a number of swimmers who improved their times and rankings.  Great job!

Our overall ranking, as a team, was 29th out of 102 teams!!!

We brought home more ribbons AND some hardware, which we will place in the ribbon box after we get back from a quick trip to SC. I will leave the ribbon box in the guard room so you can pick up your items when you come to the pool.

If you were on vacation during the banquet this week, don't forget to stop by the pool to pick up your ribbons, your team picture and your team "surprise."

Have a great summer, Vermack Vikings.....you have earned it!

Information about coaching positions/applications coming soon. Stay tuned.

Way to Swim Fast and Be the Viking!
