note about mechanical problems at the pool

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your patience with all the mechanical problems at the pool this year.  I realize there have been many.  It seems as though some of our equipment needed updating and we are finding out the hard way. One piece at a time.   I am certainly learning a lot about pools.....Today the motor to the filters broke on the pool, which is why it was shut down.  I was told it would re-open fairly soon and of course that did not happen.  We were lucky to have it fixed for our last swim meet tonight, yeah to our Vikings for their awesome win!!!  I will be working with our management company to make sure we spot any potential weak spots that may need repair before they break.  Also, an update on the high dive.  It should be fixed and ready this week.  There were a few spots that the pool management company wanted to reinforce, which is why it is taking longer than expected.  My main goal is for it to be safe and clean.  Thanks so much, Alison James
